The mushroom industry is delivering. 

Not to long ago, I put out a call, a plea, for them to make my Blenditarian life a little easier. We use The Mushroom Council's blend initiative, mixing meat with mushrooms, to lighten up our tacos, meatballs, burgers and more, but it can be a bit of a pain to finely dice when meal times have to be speedy. 

Monterey Mushrooms launched its new Let's Blend product, a line of finely diced, pre-seasoned and par-cooked mushrooms just in time for Fresh Summit this year, and I finally found them at my local H-E-B. 

They come in three flavors: Mexican, Italian and Classic. 

Ike and I decided to incorporate the Mexican blend into our Taco Tuesday lineup.
