Produce Retailer editor Ashley Nickle and The Packer's designer and copy editor Amelia Freidline tested out more than a dozen new products that will be featured at Fresh Summit, and this report focuses on three items that can be used as snacks.

In this special episode of Millennials Eat, Amelia and Ashley check out packs of apple slices and dips from FiveStar Gourmet, Better Breaks from Del Monte, and Comets tomatoes from NatureSweet.

FiveStar Gourmet sent over four items from its new line of apple snack packs — one with caramel dip and peanut pieces, one with cream cheese and crunchy cinnamon bagel bits, one with Nutella and pretzel pieces, and one with peanut butter and raisins.

Del Monte's new Better Breaks line, which features chopped vegetables and sauces in a heat-and-eat container, includes a Summer Corn option, a Zesty Green Chili option, and a Spicy Pomodoro option starring kohlrabi noodles.

NatureSweet's Comets tomatoes are described by the company as its sweetest yet.

For reviews of these products, check out the video, and see them in person at Fresh Summit — booth numbers are available on the video.
